Amritsar, May 20:
Taking strict notice of publication of a photo of a man inside the holy Gutka Sahib of Gurbani, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate S. Harjinder Singh has marked the investigation.
Giving information in this regard, SGPC’s assistant secretary media S. Kulwinder Singh said that this matter has come to the knowledge from a viral video on social media, and the SGPC President has immediately marked an investigation into this issue.
He said SGPC’s Dharam Prachar Committee (DPC) has deputed pracharak (preacher) Bhai Bhupinder Singh for investigation into this issue.
“As per the preliminary information shared by Bhai Bhupinder Singh, a Sindhi family got published a photo of their late family member on the Gutka Sahib of Sri Sukhmani Sahib at Gurdwara Betma Sahib near Indore, which has hurt the sentiments of Sikh Sangat”, said S. Kulwinder Singh.
S. Kulwinder Singh added that the team of Dharam Prachar Committee that reached Indore is seriously investigating this issue, so that the accused people can be identified and action can be initiated against them.
