Amritsar, August 3: To mark the 100 year centenary of Morcha Guru Ka Bagh with grandeur, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami gave important directions to SGPC officials after holding a meeting today.

During the meeting, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the officials should themselves keep an eye on the arrangements being made for the Sangat arriving in large number to mark the centenary of Morcha Guru Ka Bagh at Gurdwara Guru Ka Bagh, Ghukewali, so that, the Sangat do not face any inconvenience during the centenary congregations.

He also ascertained the information about the arrangements made so far and asked everyone to perform their responsibility with dedication.

Notably, under the events regarding 100 year centenary of Morcha Guru Ka Bagh, Sri Akhand Path Sahib will be started at Gurdwara Guru Ka Bagh on August 6, and on this day, the students will also perform Kirtan on string instruments and their different religious competitions will also be held. Amrit Sanchar (initiation ceremony) will be held on August 7 besides Kirtan Darbar in the evening. During the main congregation on August 8, bhog (concluding ceremony) of Sri Akhand Path Sahib will be held, in which, Granthis, Panthak personalities, kathawachaks (discourse narrators), dhadi and kavishar jathas (balladeers and poetry groups) will narrate the history.
