Amritsar, August 3:

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has taken several initiatives for welfare of Sikligar and Vanjara Sikhs, under which, while the education fees of their children are provided to them, their pilgrimage in the form of jathas (groups) is also arranged to different historical Gurdwaras to acquaint them with the Sikh history.

Under this initiative, a jatha under the leadership of S. Dalip Singh arrived at Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib, Sri Darbar Sahib for paying obeisance at the Sikh shrines, who were welcomed by the SGPC President Advocate S. Harjinder Singh Dhami.
