Amritsar, August 19:
The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) will organise Gurmat Samagam (religious congregation) at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall on August 20, 2022, in the memory of Bhai Makhan Shah Lobana and Bhai Lakhi Shah Vanjara.
This congregation would be attended by prominent personalities including hazuri raagi jathas and Gianis.
SGPC secretary S. Paramjit Singh said that some years ago, the management of SGPC and Sri Darbar Sahib had started to organise Gurmat Samagam at Gurdwara Manji Sahib Diwan Hall, in the memory of Bhai Makhan Shah Lobana and Bhai Lakhi Shah Vanjara.
He said this congregation will be organised on August 20.
He said after the bhog (concluding ceremony) of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, the groups of raagis, dhadis will connect the Sangat (congregation) with the Guru’s praise.
He said the representatives of the management committee of Gurdwara Bhai Makhan Shah Lobana Sikh Centre, New York, USA and large Sangat will specially attend this congregation.
