Amritsar, April 12:

England’s Sikh Member of Parliament (MP) S. Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib with his family members including wife Bibi Manveen Kaur Dhesi, sons S. Jogad Singh Dhesi and Toshab Singh Dhesi and listened to the divine Gurbani Kirtan.

S. Tanmanjeet Singh said that he got an opportunity to pay obeisance at the Guru’s house with his blessings and while congratulating the Sikh Sangat for Khalsa Sajna Diwas appealed the youth to connect to their heritage. He said this day is a symbol of the glory of dastar (turban) and the entire Sikh youth should move forward in the country and world while staying Sabat Soorat (in Sikh appearance with unshorn hair).

On this occasion, SGPC assistant secretary S. Tejinder Singh, information officer S. Jaswinder Singh Jassi honoured S. Tanmanjeet Singh and his family members with Siropaos (robes of honour) and a photo of Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib.
