Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib, Sri Darbar Sahib celebrated the Janam Diharha (birth anniversary) of Mata Sundar Kaur with devotion at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall.

After the bhog (concluding ceremony) of Sri Akhand Path Sahib in this regard, the hazuri raagi jatha of Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib connected the Sangat with Gurbani Kirtan and after the ardas (prayer), the kathawachak (narrator) of Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Bhai Harmitar Singh apprised the Sangat about the life history of Mata Sundar Kaur and her contribution made to the Sikh faith.

Congratulating the Sangat on this occasion, SGPC President Advocate S. Harjinder Singh said that we should take inspiration from the life of Mata Sundar Kaur and take the blessings of the Guru by adopting the bani and bana (Gurbani and traditional Sikh attire) in life.
