Amritsar, April 20: The Khalsa Fateh March started on April 16 by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) from Gurdwara Sri Rakabganj Sahib, Delhi, regarding 300th birth anniversary of Sikh General Sardar Jassa Singh Ramgarhia, today resumed from Gurdwara Sahib Chote Sahibzade with Khalsa’s grandeus for the next phase. This Fateh March will complete by reaching Sri Akal Takht Sahib on May 4. At Gurdwara Sahib Chhote Sahibzade in Fateh Nagar, Delhi, raagi jathas performed Gurbani Kirtan before the start of this march. On this occasion, the management of the Gurdwara Sahib honoured Panj Piaras (five beloved ones), Nishanchi Singhs (flag bearers) and prominent personalities with Siropoas (robes of honour). As soon as the Fateh March started, a large number of Sangat paid their respects by showering flowers.
After starting from Gurdwara Sahib Chote Sahibzade Fateh Nagar, Khalsa Fateh March passed through Delhi’s Tilak Nagar, Janakpuri, Vikaspuri, Ring Road, Mira Bagh, Guru Harikrishna Nagar, Sunder Nagar, Mangolpuri, Rohini, Pitampura, Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, and rest at Baba Sukha Singh Ji Kar Sewa at Qalandri Gate in Karnal. On the way, the devotees enthusiastically participated in the Nagar Kirtan and arranged langar (community kitchen food) at many places. On the arrival of Nagar Kirtan in Haryana, it was warmly welcomed by SGPC senior vice-president Baldev Singh Qaimpur, member Tejinderpal Singh, Bibi Manjit Kaur, additional secretary Paramjit Singh Saroa. During the Khalsa Fateh March, the bus with historical armors and relics of Sikh generals was the center of attraction for the devotees.
Present at the resumption of Khalsa Fateh March included Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi unit President Paramjit Singh Sarna, JAGO Party President Manjit Singh GK, member Gurminder Singh Matharu, DSGMC member Bibi Ranjit Kaur, Sukhwinder Singh Babbar, Kuldeep Singh Bhogal, Sukhdev Singh Rayat, additional secretary Simarjit Singh, in-charge Delhi Sikh Mission Surinderpal Singh Samana and Jasvir Singh Longowal, in-charge Manjit Singh, Kartar Singh, additional manager Nishan Singh, Surinder Singh Ramgarhia and many prominent personalities and Sangat.
