Amritsar, April 28:

The Sangat from Ambala, Haryana today offered wheat and other rations for Langar (community kitchen) Sri Guru Ramdas Ji at Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib, Sri Darbar Sahib. S. Manjit Singh Khalsa who reached here with the ration said that this Sewa (voluntary service) has been done with the support of devotees S. Rajinder Singh Sapehra, S. Avtar Singh, S. Paramjit Singh, S. Jagtar Singh, S. Baldev Singh secretary Gurdwara Sahib Nasrauli village, S. Gurnam Singh member, S. Amarjeet Singh Sarpanch, S. Bhola Singh Sapehra, S. Gurpal Singh Gauli, S. Sarwan Singh Tamrauli, S. Darshan Singh Tamrauli.

He said the Sangat offered 160 quintal wheat, 50 kg pulses and 50 kg sugar for the Guru’s Langar and similar Sewa would be done at Takht Sri Patna Sahib, Takht Sachkhand Abchalnagar Sri Hazur Sahib and Gurdwara Sri Paonta Sahib. He said the Sangat of Ambala makes this small contribution every year.

On this occasion, S. Manjit Singh Khalsa was honoured with Siropao (robe of honour) by SGPC superintendent S. Malkeet Singh in the presence of in-charge S. Harbhajan Singh and assistant superintendent S. Gurpreet Singh.
