Amritsar, December 26:
During the Shaheedi Sabha (martyrdom congregation) dedicated to martyrdom of younger sahibzadas and mother of Sri Guru Gobind Singh at Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, some mischievous elements did unruly shouting and hurt the sentiments of the Sangat.
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) assistant secretary S. Kulwinder Singh Ramdas strongly condemned the incident at Sri Fatehgarh Sahib.
S. Kulwinder Singh said that during the Shaheedi Sabha, lakhs of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay their obeisance, and similarly, prominent personalities also pay their obeisance to the martyrs there.
“This day of martyrdom is associated with the sentiments of the Sangat, which remains emotional during this time of the year. It is intolerable to bear disturbance in the renunciated atmosphere there by unruly shouting on such occasions. The Sangat should not to do any such act while paying obeisance at Gurdwara Sahib which would hurt the feelings of the sangat”, said S. Kulwinder Singh.
