Bank officials honoured by SGPC

Amritsar, March 5:

State Bank of India offered a Palki Sahib (palanquin) bus at Sri Harmandar Sahib and its keys were handed over by bank officials to SGPC secretary S. Mohinder Singh Ahli and S. Paramjit Singh Saroa.

On this occasion S. Mohinder Singh Ahli said that the devotees of Guru’s house at Sri Harmandar Sahib, the center of the devotion of humanity, pay their respects and render services. Under this State Bank of India has offered a bus with Palki Sahib. He said that even before this the bank has offered many services.

SBI officials present on this occasion included Anukul Bhatnagar, CGM, Sumit Faka, GM, Koshil Kishore Singh, DGM, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, RM and Narinder Singh, manager of Golden Temple Complex Branch. SGPC honoured the officials with Guru’s blessing Siropao (robe of honour).

Speaking on the occasion, CGM Anukul Bhatnagar said that the SBI has always shown great devotion to the Guru’s house and the blessings received from it empowered the officers and employees of the bank to serve in a spirit of dedication.

On this occasion assistant secretary S.  Sukhbir Singh, S. Harbhajan Singh Vakta in-charge media, superintendent  Malkit Singh Beharwal and S. Palwinder Singh, in-charge vehicles and officials of SBI were present.
