SGPC President asks deputy chief minister to stay in his limits

Amritsar, January 4:

Reacting to the letter written by deputy chief minister (DyCM) of Punjab, S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa to Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Harpreet Singh, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President S. Harjinder Singh Dhami said that Randhawa should first look under his own cot.

“S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has no right to interfere into the Panthic affairs because his mother party Congress had unseemly attempted to end Sikh Qaum (community) by committing genocide of Sikhs”, said S. Harjinder Singh Dhami.

SGPC President raised question to S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa that whether he will dare to tell Sangat about 1984 Sikh genocide committed by Congress?

Speaking about the bullet-hit injured holy saroop (scripture) of Sri Guru Granth Sahib during June 1984 military attack at Sri Harmandar Sahib, SGPC President told to Punjab DyCM S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa that, “This sacrilege committed by Congress has become a forever mark on Sikh psyche and the coming generations will never forget this too”.

S. Harjinder Singh said, “Leaders of Congress class that demolished Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Sri Harmandar Sahib, the holiest shrine of Sikhs, had no right to talk about Panth and the leaders of murderous class of Sikhs should never forget the misdeeds of their party.”

SGPC President said that Sri Akal Takht Sahib is supreme and the dignity of its honourable Jathedar Sahib is very high.

“But these Congress leaders are on the path of undermining the traditions of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Their aim is to create confusion between the Qaum. An example of this is the appearance of these leaders while standing on the road in front of self-made Jathedars in the recent past. These people are doing such practises, only with the intention of weakening the Panth”, said SGPC President.

S. Harjinder Singh Dhami warned S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa to stay within his limits and not to interfere in Panthic affairs.
