HPCL offers gas safety equipment & weight machine

Amritsar, June 1:

The officials of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) today spread awareness among the employees about the safety rules to be kept in mind while using the gas and working to prepare Langar at Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib. HPCL also served with important gas safety equipment and an electronic weight machine.

General Manager (GM) of HPCL Sh Dharminder Kumar Bihaura, deputy GM S. Tejinderpal Singh Cheema and area sales manager Sh Chetan Chandev said that a large quantity of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is used daily at Langar, Sri Guru Ramdas Ji and it very important to follow the safety rules. The officials gave information to the employees about important rules regarding the maintenance of gas cylinders, precautions to be taken while turning the cylinders on and off and storing the cylinders and asked them to remain vigilant every time while working.

On this occasion, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) secretary S. Pratap Singh thanked the HPCL officials who reached here specially. The HPCL officials were also honoured with a photo of Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib and Siropaos (robes of honour) by S. Pratap Singh and assistant secretary S. Kulwinder Singh. Those present included S. Satnam Singh, manager of Langar, Sri Guru Ramdas Ji, and in-charge media S. Harbhajan Singh Vatka.
