Amritsar, June 1:

Baba Jeet Singh Nirmal Kutia Jaulanwale with support of the Sangat today offered 127 quintals of wheat and about Rs 1.13 lakh for the Langar (community kitchen) of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji.

Speaking on this occasion, Baba Jeet Singh said the services being rendered in the Gurdwara Sahibs by the representative body of the Sikh Panth, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) are appreciable.

He said every Sikh considers himself fortunate to serve in the Langar of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji and with the grace of the Guru, he comes every year for Sewa with the support of Sangat.

On this occasion, he was honoured with a photo of Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib and Siropao (robe of honour) by additional manager of Sri Darbar Sahib S. Nishan Singh. Those present on this occasion included Bhai Jatinder Singh Moranwali, Bhai Jaspreet Singh, S. Makhan Singh Numberdar, S. Raspinder Singh, S. Surjit Singh, commandant R.P. Singh, Dr Sukhbir Singh, S. Avtar Singh, S. Daljit Singh and the Sangat.
